and enriching programs throughout the Southwest.


Backstage Tours

Radamisto MaskCome discover the remarkable process on how an opera production comes together. Through our comprehensive, "behind-the-scenes" tour, you can explore many of our production and front-of-house areas. Tours for the 2016 season are offered at 9:00 am, Monday through Friday: May 30, through August 26, 2016.

The one-hour tour which starts at the Box Office, is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and free for children and young adults up to age 22. Comfortable dress and footwear are recommended. Reservations are not required.

Opera Insider Days

A free Opera Guild event held on Saturdays (June 4 - August 27, 2016). At 8:30 am, you are greeted by an Opera Guild member with coffee and muffins followed by a lively talk at 8:45 am about a particular area or opera-related craft from an opera insider. The event is concluded with a complimentary backstage tour. A special youth activity is offered for those attending with children. Reservations are not required.


An extended tour of the grounds, known as the "Opera Ranch," starts at the Box Office at 10:00 am on the last Friday of June, July and August in 2016, with a "Meet the Artist" component. The Ranch Tour is $10 however if this is combined with a Backstage Tour, the total cost is $20. Reservations are not required.
