spring tour

Each year The Santa Fe Opera takes its act on the road! This spring, our singers will tour cities in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas, offering free performances for school children along with free public concerts in Albuquerque, Clovis, Colorado Springs, CO, Denver, CO, Las Cruces, Lubbock, TX, Moriarty, Penasco, Raton, Rio Rancho, Socorro, and Taos. An average of 12,000 audience members enjoy the Spring Tour annually.

This spring's performance includes an original work, Written in the Stars, which explores the relationship of words and music in opera in a delightful and engaging format for children and families. Santa Fe Opera apprentices, soprano Abigail Mitchell and baritone Shea Owens are the featured singers.
