Since 1957 their year-round volunteer services and financial support have launched and expanded some of the Opera's most successful activities. Who invents new fun for Backstage Pass each spring? Guild Members. Who sponsors the wonderful backstage tour program? Guild Members. Who hosts special fundraising events for the Opera's Education and Community Programs? Guild Members. Whose behind-the-scenes work is critical to Youth Night at the Opera, the Spring Opera Tour and the Company's unique Pueblo Opera Program? Guild Members. In fact, the Company relies on Guild Members to keep its community programs fresh and vital. The Guilds of The Santa Fe Opera welcome members of all ages - from New Mexico, of course, but also from states far beyond. You don't have to be a Santa Fean to be a Guild Member in good standing. Commitment is what counts. Just as the Opera is moving in new directions, so too are the Guilds - hatching new plans, forging new partnerships, bringing new energy and ideas into the Opera's endeavors.
