The commitment of on-site volunteers, as well as the work of Guild members, is one of the most meaningful compliments to the Opera.

During 2010-2012, Guilds Inc. is committed to be involved in the following:

1. Joint Santa Fe Opera/Guilds Inc. Advocacy Program: This involves harnessing the talents of local chapter members on "Opera Day" at the Roundhouse during the 2011 Legislative session; alerting appropriate policymakers to the Opera's Spring Opera Tour involvement in their communities; and helping create awareness at the Policymaker's Dinner at the Opera in late June 2011.

2. Overall Enhancement of Communications Between the Guilds and the Public: This will focus on membership growth by increasing visibility in the communities by communicating and collaborating with other non-profit organizations to present opera and music-related programs in public venues at little or no charge.
