Rehearsal Halls
Each summer there are weeks in which all five of our productions are rehearsing at once. But with only one actual stage, all other rehearsals must take place in much smaller venues, or in a makeshift temporary tent on the grounds, or in an elementary school gymnasium several miles away. With gifts totaling $3.5 million, we'll build two new rehearsal halls the same shape and size as the theater's stage—creating better working conditions for our artists, and guaranteeing an even more polished finished product for our audiences.
