    Contribute to the welcoming and colorful atmosphere of the Opera's unique gift shop!  Greet customers and enjoy working on a day to day basis with many Company members.


    Qualifications include a minimum of 5 years retail management and sales experience; excellent computer, customer service, and organizational skills.  Assistant Manager works under direction of the Day Manager and the Retail Manager.

    Successful applicant will have strong visual merchandising and a full range of customer service skills.  Responsibilities include; sales, web site order fulfillment, receiving and unpacking merchandise, shop security, cash handling and reconciliation of daily deposits.  Experience in creating displays, and with jewelry and accessory sales will be a plus.

    This position has a 5 day per week, 40 hour schedule and includes Saturdays.  The position can require some heavy lifting, abilty to climb ladders and prepare, fold and display merchandise, and keep shop presentable and clean.
