The application process for the PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT for the 2016 season has closed. Applications for the 2017 Season will be available beginning mid-December 2016.
The Company's summer performance season is July and August. There are a number of various seasonal positions available, some of which may begin as early as April or May. Such positions include maintenance and groundskeeping jobs, drivers, retail (gift shop), bartenders, and front of house (usher) assignments. (Please note that the deadline for submission of usher applications is June 5, 2016.) If you would like to submit an application, please indicate information regarding your preferred type of work.
Service the patrons of the Opera in a friendly and courteous manner, while professionally and politely adhering to and enforcing the Opera’s management policies; assist the patrons of the Opera in finding their seats; answer general questions; and assist house management with maintaining order and resolving problems as directed.
Bartenders provide Santa Fe Opera patrons efficient, friendly service, ensuring the safety of all. Responsible alcohol serving is mandatory.
Participate in the welcoming atmoshpere of the Opera shop, and assist patrons with their purchases.

Representatives provide excellent service to patrons of the Opera by assisting them with ticket purchases and program questions. Therefore, it is important to become familiar with the season's repertoire, the layout of the theater, and the general rules of the house.
There are several positions with weekly hours fluctuating between 20 and 40, dependent on the needs of the box office. Start dates are from mid-April to early June.
On performance evenings, prepare and maintain the Cantina and surrounding areas to receive the patrons and guests of the Opera.
The Business Office Assistant will support the projects and workload of the Opera’s various business functions. This individual will be a responsible team member, working under the direction of the Director of Finance and Accounting or appropriate staff member, as required for each task.

Credit toward an internship program can be provided if requested.
