Prelude Talks
These lively and informative talks are offered in Stieren Orchestra Hall twice before most performances. The first talk begins two hours before the performance and the second is one hour before. Prelude Talks begin Wednesday, July 8 and are free to ticket holders. For best availability, we suggest the first one. Prelude Talks are not offered on Opening Weekend (July 2 or 3) or on Apprentice Scenes performance evenings (August 15 and 22).

Backstage Tours
Go behind the scenes and learn about the fascinating and colorful world of opera production. One-hour tours are given Monday through Saturday at 9 am, from May 31 to August 28. Tickets are $5 for adults; children (ages 6-17) are free. Tours start at the box office. No reservations are needed; tickets are sold at the start of the tour.
Opera Shop
During the Festival Season, the Shop is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 4:30 pm, as well as two hours prior to each performance, during intermissions, and post-performance. A wide variety of items in all price ranges is available. If you are visiting Santa Fe during the Opera's off-season you may make an appointment to visit the store by calling 505-986-5949.
