Getting to the Opera
The Opera is located seven miles north of Santa Fe
on the west side of US Highway 84/285.
Driving Directions
Northbound from Santa Fe or Albuquerque:
- Travel north on US 84/285 to Exit 168: "Tesuque Village/Opera Drive/ Ave Monte Sereno."
- Turn left at the end of the exit ramp.
- Turn right onto the frontage road ("Opera Drive") and travel 1.4 miles to the Opera entrance.
Southbound from Taos, Los Alamos, or Espanola:
- Travel south on US 84/285 to Exit 168: "Tesuque Village/Opera Drive/Ave Monte Sereno."
- Turn right at the end of the exit ramp.
- Turn right onto the frontage road ("Opera Drive") and travel 1.4 miles to the Opera entrance.
Parking area
There are two parking lots at the Opera which open three hours prior to the performance. We suggest arriving at least 30 minutes prior to your performance time to avoid traffic congestion. Attendants will greet and guide you. Parking is free, as is a shuttle between the lower parking lot and the theater entrance. Vehicle alarms which activate during a perofrmance will be disconnected. Shuttle Service
Ride in comfort from Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The Albuquerque shuttle is $34 round-trip. There are two Santa Fe shuttles ($20 round-trip) which pick up from several locations. Shuttle tickets must be purchased at least 48 hours in advance; they may sell out earlier.
