    Getting to the Opera

    Getting HereThe Opera is located seven miles north of Santa Fe
    on the west side of US Highway 84/285.

    Driving Directions

    Getting Here - mapNorthbound from Santa Fe or Albuquerque:

    1. Travel north on US 84/285 to Exit 168: "Tesuque Village/Opera Drive/ Ave Monte Sereno."
    2. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp.
    3. Turn right onto the frontage road ("Opera Drive") and travel 1.4 miles to the Opera entrance.

    Southbound from Taos, Los Alamos, or Espanola:

    1. Travel south on US 84/285 to Exit 168: "Tesuque Village/Opera Drive/Ave Monte Sereno."
    2. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp.
    3. Turn right onto the frontage road ("Opera Drive") and travel 1.4 miles to the Opera entrance.

     

    There are two parking lots at the Opera which open three hours prior to the performance. Plan to arrive at least thirty minutes before performance time to avoid traffic congestion. Parking is free, as is a shuttle between the lower parking area and the theater entrance.

    Shuttle Service

    Ride in comfort from Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The Albuquerque shuttle ($33 round-trip) features a recorded introduction to the opera of the evening. There are two Santa Fe shuttles ($19 round-trip) which pick up from several locations. The early shuttle arrives in time for patrons attending the Preview Buffet or the first Prelude Talk.  View shuttle schedule.

    Shuttle tickets must be purchased at least 48 hours in advance. To purchase now go to the July or August performance calendar and select "Shuttles" from a performance date.
