We are currently looking for a child chaperone for our productions of Carmen and Falstaff. This position will coordinate with our rehearsal office and parents/guardian parents for drop-off and pick-ups on campus, supervise the children while on campus for rehearsal, and also be present at dress rehearsals and performances. A flexible schedule during the rehearsal period (now through July 16) is necessary. This includes for both daytime rehearsals, and during evening performances.
Rehearsals are already underway for Carmen, with Falstaff rehearsals starting Monday, June 13. There are ten performances of Carmen on July 1, 6, 9, 15, 22; August 2, 8, 13, 17 & 27, 2022. There are seven performances of Falstaff on July 16, 20, 29; August 4, 9, 16, & 25, 2022.
The position requires a responsible individual who enjoys spending time with children. Activities for their down time might include such things as coordinating pool time or outdoor activities during the day or board games during their down times during performances.
We will pay a competitive hourly rate and potentially an end-of-season bonus to an employee who completes the season under the agreed-upon terms.
