Jennifer Rhodes specializes in the relationship between text, music and the visual and performing arts. She holds a PhD in Italian and Comparative Literature; her current book project traces the influence of Richard Wagner on the modern novel. Jennifer’s time at the Santa Fe Opera began in 1998 with a technical apprenticeship. Since 2000, she has been a member of the company’s Titles Department, where her love of words and song takes center stage. Jennifer is currently on the faculty of Columbia University, where she has taught since 2010.
