Since its 1957 founding, the Santa Fe Opera has offered aspiring singers the opportunity to obtain advanced training and professional experience as they build a career in opera. A second program was also created to give theater technicians hands-on training in all areas of production. The concept, which was developed by founder John Crosby, flourishes today as the Apprentice Programs for Singers and Technicians.
