Enhance Your Visit

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, our regular enhancements are not available during the 2021 Season.
When available next season, consider joining us for a preview dinner, backstage tour, tailgating or pre-performance chats.

Backstage Tours

Discover how an opera production comes together. On our “behind-the-scenes” tour, you will explore many of our production and front-of-house areas. Tours are offered once daily at 9:00 am, Monday through Friday.

Tours last 1 hour. Meet at the Box Office. $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students, and free for children and young adults (ages 6-22). Comfortable dress and footwear is recommended. Reservations are not required.

Prelude Talks

A road map for your evening’s performance, these talks are complimentary to ticket holders and are held in Stieren Orchestra Hall twice before most performances. The first talk is given two hours before the performance and the second is one hour before.

Due to popularity, the first talk is recommended for best seating. Seating is limited and reservations are not available.

Opera Insider Days

A free event hosted by the Guilds of the Santa Fe Opera on Saturdays. Join us at 8:30 am for coffee, juice and pastries followed by a lively talk by an opera insider, and concluding with a tour of the backstage. Ages 6 and up are welcome. Reservations are not required.

Ranch Tours

An extended tour of the grounds known as the “Opera Ranch,” meets at the Box Office at 10:00 am on the last Friday of each month (June, July, August).

The tour includes a “Meet the Artists” presentation by one of our apprentice singers. The Ranch Tour is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students, and free for children and young adults (ages 6-22). Reservations are not required.
